Do you haveโ€ฆ?
  • It is free.
  • You can submit it from 3 days before you arrive in Korea.
  • You normally do not need to print it or show a QR code at immigration. Your submission is linked electronically. Keep the issuance number from your confirmation email handy, just in case.

โš ๏ธ Avoid fake websites. The official Korean e-Arrival Card does not charge a fee. The only official site is e-arrivalcard.go.kr.

Health check

Most travelers simply follow the โ€œArrivals / Immigrationโ€ signs.

If you recently visited, stayed in or transited through a designated quarantine-managed area, you may need to submit a Q-CODE or a health questionnaire.

Q-CODE can be filled in from 7 days before you arrive, and also at the airport on a kiosk or tablet. If you already completed it, keep the confirmation on your phone.

The list of areas changes, so this page does not list countries.

Have your hotel name or Korean address ready.

How long are you staying?

Answer with your planned stay.

When are you leaving Korea?

Your return or onward flight information may help.

Questions vary by traveler. Being asked extra questions does not necessarily mean there is a problem.

Can I use an automated gate?

Most short-term visitors should follow the Foreign Passports signs unless airport staff direct them to an automated gate. Eligible registered foreigners, such as residence-card holders, may use Koreaโ€™s Smart Entry Service.
