🚢 From Seaports
Arriving by ferry or cruise ship? How to get from the port terminal to the city.
Seaport terminals are in port areas, so the way into the city differs from the airport. Use this page to plan the last part of a ferry or cruise arrival.
Busan International Passenger Terminal
- The terminal is in central Busan, close to Busan Station. Check the walking route in a map app; with luggage, a short taxi ride is easier.
- From Busan Station you can take the subway (Line 1) or the KTX to Seoul and other cities.
- Ferries often arrive early in the morning. Check the first subway and train times before you rely on them.
Incheon Port terminals
- The ferry terminals are in the port area and far from Incheon Airport. Use a taxi or bus to the nearest subway or train station, and let a map app plan the route.
- Seoul is reachable by subway and train from the Incheon city stations. With luggage, a taxi can be simpler.
Cruise ports
- Cruise lines usually arrange shuttle buses or excursions from the cruise terminal. Ask your ship before you disembark.
- Taxis wait at official stands. Use the official taxi sign and a taxi app such as Kakao T or k.ride.
Tips for sea arrivals
- Have your accommodation name and address in Korean on your phone, so a taxi driver can take you straight there.
- Get connected before you leave the terminal: an eSIM installed in advance, or the terminal Wi-Fi.
- Buy a T-money transit card at a convenience store near the terminal, and keep a little cash for small purchases.
- Big luggage: use a larger taxi, or ask whether your accommodation offers luggage storage or delivery.
- Late or early arrivals: public transport does not run all night. Check the last and first services, or use a registered taxi.
We could not verify current bus routes from every port. Use a map app for live routes and confirm timetables with the operator. Information last verified 2026-10-07.
